My target 95 kms

We're running this 95 km this July for every person in Australia who dies from a heart attack.

Did you know that in Australia, someone dies from a heart attack approximately every 95 minutes, and around 150 people are admitted to hospital each day because of a heart attack?

Hi everyone, we're Dani and Gemma — cardiac nurses, work besties, and passionate advocates for heart health.

Throughout July, we'll be running 95 kilometres to raise funds for life-saving cardiovascular research. Research plays a vital role in improving prevention, treatment, and recovery for people affected by heart disease, helping to save lives and improve quality of life for countless Australians.

We are privileged to work alongside some incredibly talented cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons who transform lives every day. The care they provide is made possible, in part, by decades of research that continues to advance the way we diagnose, treat, and manage heart disease.

As nurses, we see firsthand the impact that heart disease can have on individuals and families. We also see the difference that exceptional care, innovative treatments, and ongoing research can make. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our patients leave hospital healthier, stronger, and reunited with their loved ones.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help support critical research and contribute to better outcomes for people living with cardiovascular disease. We would be incredibly grateful for your support as we take on this challenge.

Thank you for helping us make a difference.

Much love, and wish us luck!
