Every kilometre I run is for someone—a parent, grandparent, partner, or friend, whose life has been effected by heart disease.
I’m running towards zero—a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love to cardiovascular disease.
Did you know that every 95 minutes, someone in Australia loses their life to a heart attack? Cardiovascular disease remains one of Australia’s biggest health challenges, affecting more than 4.5 million Australians and claiming one in every four lives.
I’m taking on the Run to Zero challenge to help change those statistics. Your donation will help fund the Heart Foundation’s life-saving research, prevention initiatives and healthcare programs, while giving me the motivation to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
