Im doing it for Dad

This July, I'm taking on a challenge that's very close to my heart.

I'll be running/walking 95 kilometres throughout the month, counting down from 95km to zero, and I'm hoping my fundraising total will rise as each kilometre falls. If you're able, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support.

Many of you know that I lost my dad a few years ago to cardiac arrest. It's a loss that continues to affect me and my family every day. In the years that followed, I struggled with my grief and often turned to food for comfort. Over time, I gained a significant amount of weight and found myself in a place where I was unhappy and unhealthy.

Last year, I reached my heaviest weight and knew something had to change. In January, I made a commitment to take control of my health, and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Since then, I've lost 34kg, and my strength, fitness, and confidence have improved more than I ever thought possible.

This challenge is about more than just running. It's about honouring my dad's memory, continuing my own health journey, and helping to make a difference for others affected by heart disease.

I'm choosing to Run to Zero because, in Australia, someone loses their life to a heart attack every 95 minutes. That's a statistic that hits close to home for me.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help fund the Heart Foundation's vital research, education, and healthcare programs. Your support will also give me the motivation I need to reach my 95km goal.

Thank you for helping me honour my dad and support a cause that means so much to me.

Please consider donating and cheering me on throughout July.
