I’m running 95km this July!
Two weeks ago, my dad suffered a "widow maker" heart attack. The difference between him being here today and us losing him was just five minutes. Five minutes between me having a dad, and Dottie having her Grandad. We were incredibly lucky, but so many families aren't.
That's why this July, I'm taking on the Run to Zero challenge. I'll be running 95 km—one kilometre for every 95 minutes that someone in Australia loses their life to a heart attack.
As my kilometres count down to zero, I'm hoping my fundraising total will climb. If you're able to, I'd be so grateful for your support. Every donation helps fund the Heart Foundation's life-saving research, prevention programs and heart health initiatives.
95km is approx. 24km a week of running… which I’ll just fit in between work, gym, and mothering a toddler with a shift-working husband 🙃🙃 So if you can’t spare a donation, please at least say a little prayer for me, my legs and Dottie’s pram.
