1 Corinthians 9:25–27 captures the same truth in a different language:
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training… I do not run aimlessly… I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave… This passages is a rich tapestry of, sacrificial service, and athletic metaphors. The eternal crown isn’t just a reward—it’s a reflection of a life aligned with divine purpose. movement with meaning, discipline with direction.
That’s why I’m running. Not aimlessly. Not for show. But because I was given another chance — and I intend to use it with intention, discipline, and gratitude.
