My target 95 kms
I’m running 95km this July. Every kilometre is for Dad.
This July I’m taking on Run to Zero and running 95km for my dad.
Dad lived with multiple myeloma for more than 20 years. A heart attack last year brought that journey to an end, but not the impact he had on those who loved him. He taught me so much about resilience, family and making the most of the time we have. Every kilometre I run is for him, and to help fund research, prevention and support so more families get to share precious moments with the people they love.

Week One - done and dusted with 20kms in the bag!
Monday 6th Jul
I'm officially 20 km into my 95 km Run to Zero challenge, and I'm really happy with how the first week has gone. I had a plan, and I got it done.
The kilometres are adding up, even if my hips are reminding me I'm not twenty anymore! 😂 The rain has also arrived, so I suspect the treadmill and I are about to become much better friends in Week 2.
One thing I've loved already is how many people have waved, sent messages or offered to run with me. Every bit of encouragement genuinely helps.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this challenge. Every run is in memory of Dad, and every kilometre is a reminder of why heart health matters.
