My target 95 kms

I'm running this 95 km this July for every person in Australia who dies from a heart attack, one every 95 minutes.

This is a cause that’s very close to home. I lost my dad to a heart attack five years ago, and it’s something that continues to shape how I think about health, prevention, and the importance of this work.

More recently, I’ve also been working as lead architect on the new Northern Heart Centre at the Launceston General Hospital. Being involved in that project and seeing the impact these facilities can have, has made this cause even more meaningful to me.

I’m currently training for a marathon in October, so this challenge is a great opportunity to build momentum in my training while supporting an important cause. Throughout July, I’ll be clocking up the kilometres as part of that preparation.

If you’re in a position to support, I’d really appreciate it. Every contribution - big or small - goes towards life-saving research and making a real difference.
