My target 95 kms
I'm running this 95 km this July for every person in Australia who dies from a heart attack, one every 95 minutes.
Hi everyone ❤️
I'm Alara, a final-year nursing student, and this July I'll be taking on the challenge of running 95km for the Heart Foundation's Run to Zero Challenge.
I'm running 95km because every 95 minutes, an Australian loses their life to a heart attack. Behind that statistic is someone's parent, partner, sibling, friend, or loved one. It's a reminder of how deeply heart disease affects individuals, families, and communities across Australia.
As I prepare to become a nurse, I've come to appreciate just how important prevention, education, research, and support are in helping people live longer, healthier lives. That's why this cause is so close to my heart. Every dollar raised helps fund lifesaving research and support programs for those affected by heart disease.
If you're in a position to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Your support will not only motivate me through every kilometre but will also contribute to making a real difference in the lives of others.
Thank you so much for your generosity, encouragement, and support. It truly means the world to me. ❤️
